Merry Christmas!

Josh and I had a great time celebrating the birth of Jesus in 2008! Thanks, Pete and Nichole for the DDR Hottest Party 2! Thanks Eric, for having us over as always. We'll be seeing you again tonight for New Year's Eve! The celebration at my Grandma's house was great as well, with all my aunts and uncles and cousins, etc. Josh and I performed the new hit skit: "What if Jesus was Born in Taiwan?" as pictured below. (The pictures are in reverse order from evening to morning.) Enjoy!

29 and Feeling Fine

enjoying fall!

Here I am with the hugest (real) pumpkin I have ever seen! It is the pumpKING!

We went apple picking! It was Josh's first time, but he was a pro! I guess all the experience on his grandpa's orchard helped.

More of the garden.

Hope you're not sick of the garden yet. I know I'm not. Every time I go back it's a little different.

Still loving the garden!

Yesterday I was supposed to be stuck in a "Non-violent Crisis Intervention" training for work all day, but they let us out early, so I decided to enjoy the nice day and ride my bike to the Botanic Gardens. A lot of the summer blooms are fading now, but some autumny blooms are coming in and I LOVE them. Not to mention the autumn leaves. I also saw at least 10 brides and their wedding parties taking pictures and having receptions. They were all beautiful, of course. I enjoyed my afternoon out immensely and hope I can sneak in a few more visits to the garden before the weather turns and I never want to leave the house again. Can you spot my bike on this path where I usually run?

God's creation is so amazing!

The clouds reflected in the water.

I'm a sucker for these bright orange sunflowers.
